Chit Chat

Do not let a moment go by that doesn’t remind you that your heart beats 100,000 times a day and that there are enough gallons of blood to make you an ocean. Do not settle for letting these waves settle and the dust to collect in your veins.

Never let go of hope. One day you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself… ‘How did I get through all of that?’

Sometimes you wake up. Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall, you fly.

To separate oneself from the burden, the angst, the anguish that we all encounter everyday. To say I am alive, I am wonderful, I am. I am. That is something to aspire to.

I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.

Okay, The Lorax has provided yet another boost for Dr. Seuss. But I still find it notable that 21 years after his death, Theodor Seuss Geisel has five picture books in the top 50 on USA TODAY’s Best-Selling Books list. His books have sold over 500,000,000 copies. 26 of the original 46 Dr. Seuss books are available as interactive apps. His most famous book – The Cat in the Hat – used only 225 words. Success is often not nearly as complicated as we suspect. Rather, it’s a result of doing something remarkable.

You closed your eyes. That was the difference. Sometimes you cannot believe what you see, you have to believe what you feel. And if you are ever going to have other people trust you, you must feel that you can trust them, too — even when you’re in the dark. Even when you’re falling.

Our individuality is all that we have, there are those that barter it for security, those who repress it for what they believe is the betterment of the whole society, but blessed in the twinkle of the morning star is the one who nutures it and rides it in grace and love and wit, from peculiar station to peculiar station along life’s bitter sweet route.

Never chase love, affection or attention. If it isn’t given freely by another person, it isn’t worth having.
